~ HARVESTING FOR THE FUTURE ~

“We must give more in order to get more. It is the generous giving of ourselves that produces the generous harvest.” Orison Swett Marden

Fellow Alumni & Friends of the Foundation ~

It is the time of year that the McLoud School Foundation will be organizing our Annual Fundraising! What a great time to focus around the 4th of July and The McLoud Blackberry Festival (June 30th & July 1st). Our theme this year as you can see is HARVESTING FOR THE FUTURE. The future of all our students to excel and grow in the McLoud Public School System is very important to us and precisely why we do what we do.

The McLoud School Foundation was re-organized in 2011 and since then we have been able to:

    • Award $18,500.00 in scholarships to deserving McLoud seniors furthering their education.
    • Award $5,000.00 in Teacher Grants
    • Give $1,900.00 to the Academic Letter Jacket Program

    This year, for 2017:

    • Eight Teacher Grants in the amount of $4,522.04
    • We will be awarding $ 5,000.00 in Scholarships at the May Awards Assembly to 5 outstanding McLoud seniors.
    • First year to award a Vo-Tech Scholarship in the amount of $500.00

That is $35,422.04!!! That is what your generous giving has done for the students and faculty at McLoud Schools. We could not have done this without your help. We need you to continue the Foundation’s giving to McLoud’s students and teachers; we sincerely hope you will consider a generous donation. We are a 501c3 status with the Internal Revenue so your donations are tax deductible!
